Girls' Night Out, Inc., was founded in 1996. When founding this company, I wanted to provide a service that stressed safe, affordable transportation options for women, particularly for Bachelorette Parties. Having been "drafted" as the designated driver for Bachelorette Parties many times for friends, it was apparent that there was a need for a service that provided this.
      Initially, I set out to just provide this service, and it took a litte time for us to get recognition. I remember in 1996 getting our first rsvp from someone I had not known previously. I was at a bar in Reston, passing out cards as usual, and I met a really beautiful girl named Jacqui. I got her number, and gave her my card. When I called her, though, she had gotten back together with her boyfriend. I was a little bummed, she was/is very beautiful, but a couple weeks later, we got our first rsvp from some friends of hers. This led to numerous referrals, and other groups, and that's pretty much how we got the ball rolling.
      I was glad to get our first booking, but that doesn't mean I wasn't bummed about the girl (Jacqui, you're still the hottest ever!). Over the years, we've grown to hundreds of groups a year, and added many other events. Bachelorette Parties, Birthday Parties, Girls' Night Out, Winery Tours, Brew Pub Tours, Concerts, Festivals, etc.
